2021 Fall – Calling for Startup Supporting Program “E*5 KAIST” Participants

KAIST Startup Support Office announces “E*5 KAIST 2021 Fall”, a student start-up support program that specifically and practically supports the process of business idea commercialization.


WHAT IS E*5 KAIST?

  • Providing systematic and practical support to develop startup ideas into actual business (Fund, Space, Mentoring)
  • Fostering startup teams through training, mentoring, coaching, evaluation, etc.

RECRUITMENT OVERVIEW

  • Purpose: Providing systematic and practical support to develop startup ideas into business
  • Support
    • Details: Training and mentoring (Mentor-Mentee matching), Funding, Office Space, etc.
    • Mentors: Korea’s leading venture capital investors and experts
      • BonAngels Venture Partners, Bluepoint Partners, CNT Tech, Kakao Ventures, FuturePlay
    • Financial Support
      • 500,000 KRW for each selected team
      • Additional support for winners of each mission
      • Up to 15 million KRW for the final award team

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY

Individuals or teams including at least one KAIST student (Undergraduate or Graduate) currently enrolled or on leave of absence


  • Ineligibility Criteria
    • Team or individual including representatives of a company whose business license registration date exceeds one year from the program start date
    • Previous participants of E*5 KAIST applying with the same business idea
    • Previous award winners of E*5 KAIST (With the exception of Special Prize)

  • Application Period: August 23 (Wed) ~ September 10, 2021 (Fri) 23:59

    • Notice of application qualifiers (“Pre-E*5 Teams”): September 17 (Fri)
