The Center for Global Strategies and Planning (GSP) at KAIST in partnership with Startup KAIST and Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) is offering a special 3-month mentorship program. This program includes biweekly on-line technical, legal, and/or entrepreneurial mentoring sessions and an off-line networking event for the startup teams that are in needs of launching or expanding their global business in the United States. The on-line mentoring session will match the company (team)’s needs with local specialists. The off-line networking event will be held in the United States during the Ygnite 2023 conference organized by the KSEA.
- This program aims to help the KAIST startup teams expand their business to global market and offers successful applicants the chance to enhance the success potential of startup development through participation in 3 months of biweekly on-line 1:1 mentoring session and an off-line networking event with technical, legal, and/or business specialists in the United States.
- KAIST Startup teams (one or more members of the team MUST be full-time KAIST graduate or undergraduate students who are enrolled in 2022 Fall semester, or in a temporary leave of absence for student startup) with less than three year of incorporation experience and interest in expanding their business to the United States (3 teams to be selected). The selected teams MUST be eligible to attend biweekly 1:1 online mentoring session from October 2022 to January 2023 and travel to the US in January 20~22, 2023.
- Online (3 months of biweekly mentoring session) and San Jose, CA USA (networking event)
- October 2022 ~ January 2023
- On-line mentoring session fee, Ygnite 2023 registration and accommodation fee, Round-trip flight ticket to Ygnite 2023 for 2 persons in each team
